FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

  What should I expect?

The first visit will be an initial consultation to determine your goals for your space, you will receive advice and a plan for the best way to accomplish your goals.
Future sessions will consist of working side-by-side to organize your space.

Can Efficient Organization just give me advice?
Efficient Organization is available to provide a consultation only while providing guidance and a plan for clients who would like to do the work on their own. Although most clients find it beneficial to receive support and encouragement by working side-by-side.

Will I have to get rid of all my stuff?
No. Efficient Organization will be there to guide and support clients in their decisions during the organizing process but it is ultimately the client’s final decision on what to part with. Organizing isn’t about getting rid of all your belongings, it’s about keeping the items that you love and having easy access to what you need.

How long will it take to get organized?
Time frames will depend on the scope of the project and how quickly the client is able to make decisions during the organizing session. Homework may also be done between sessions to facilitate the process.

What should I do to prepare for my organizing session?
Please be prepared to begin and end your organizing session on time. Please limit interruptions such as phone calls as much as possible to best take advantage of your organizing session. Do not organize before the organizer gets there, please allow Efficient Organization to see the issues that you are dealing with in your space. Be prepared for positive changes!
